this piece was also commissioned by La Comunidad during Art Basel festivities in the Wynwood Art District in Miami, 2006.
an elevator door opens and closes in a thin plane, floating above a patch of sod.
In this installment, my inspiration was the exciting new connections between the microcosm (earth) and the macrocosm (planetary space) which the Super String Theory of modern physics proposes, possibly solving a mystery of modern science
