“Strings #3” was commissioned by
GenArt for the opening night event of Scope Art Fair in Miami, during the Art Basel Art Fair, 2006.
this installment of the series further develops its idea by expanding the piece onto three dimensions.
this installment combines two, synchronized projections of a revolving door onto separate, fixed planes of cloth hanging in adjacent geometrical planes.
by doubling the planes of projection, the holographic quality of the doors increases.
